Dear Family/ Friend,
Next spring break I will be volunteering in Santiago, Dominican Republic through Global Community Engagement (GCE). While there I will have the opportunity and privilege of working with disadvantage children that are homeless and lacking parental and educational support. Through GCE we develop educational programs to take to the children as well as the donation of school supplies, clothes, and hygiene items. I am very excited and proud to be apart of GCE this year but now I need your help.
This project means a lot to me because my family is from Dominican Republic and I am excited to give back and make an impact in lives of those less fortunate than I am. In order for this project to continue to touch lives, a budget of over $11,000 must be raised. I am asking you, friends and family for your support. Any donation would make an imprint on this budget. Please, whether it is $5 or $50, it would be for a wonderful cause. If you make a donation, you will be receiving a letter from GCE recognizing your donation as we are tax exempt.
